Clubs, Trips & Visits
A vibrant array of enrichment opportunities that take learning beyond the classroom
Providing a broad, balanced curriculum is at the heart of the Boundary Oak philosophy. Your child will be excited by the wealth of after school clubs, varied trips and residential experiences at home and abroad.
Take a look below at some of the clubs we offer in Senior School:
Pupils can choose from over 100 clubs per term across sports and a vast range of academic and specialist interests.
Trips and Residentials
Our residentials and trips abroad form part of The Journey, during which pupils learn about themselves, each other, and the environment.
Time away from home and school helps pupils become self-reliant, solve problems, and push themselves outside their comfort zones.
Trips vary in duration and are subject to change. Examples include:
- Spanish trip to Barcelona
- Krakow/Auschwitz trip
- Ski trip
- New York art trip
- Germany trip
- Languages/science trip to Paris
- Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver expeditions
World Challenge international expeditions
In partnership with World Challenge, two-week expeditions with an educational/ecology project are planned every two years. These are open to Years 9-11, who have 24 months to raise money and prepare for departure after GCSE examinations.
Globeducate events
Through our membership with Globeducate, pupils can take advantage of the International Experiences programme, including summer camps and study abroad options across our worldwide schools network.
