Building Strong Foundations for GCSE Success

GCSE success at Boundary Oak is built over time, starting with the strong academic foundations established in our Junior School.

Lilya joined Boundary Oak in Year 5 and went on to achieve 10 GCSEs with an average grade of 7, exceeding expectations with a +2.3 value-added score. Amelie, a pupil since Year 1, achieved an average grade of 8, a +2 value-added score, and secured an academic scholarship to her Sixth Form of choice.

These individual successes reflect a wider trend. Pupils who joined Boundary Oak in Year 7 or earlier achieved 54% of GCSE grades at 7+ (A/A*), demonstrating the strength of our Junior School in preparing pupils to excel at GCSE and beyond. Mrs Savage reflects:

“We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students. This year’s results show real progress and reflect the determination, resilience and ambition they have shown. Their success is also testament to the expertise and commitment of our staff, who go above and beyond to support every child.

At Boundary Oak School, we believe in nurturing the whole child. While we celebrate academic success, we are equally proud of the personal growth, creativity and character our pupils develop during their time with us.”
