Pastoral Care
Nurture is our foundation. Our caring family community values, supports and respects every pupil's wellbeing.
A note from our Head of Pastoral Care
Boundary Oak is committed to nurturing every child's emotional and physical well-being through a thoughtful, holistic approach. Our dedicated pastoral team, supported by all staff, ensures that every pupil feels safe, respected, and valued, with access to help whenever needed.
The culture at Boundary Oak encourages strong relationships between staff and pupils, enabling early identification and resolution of any concerns.
We believe passionately in the importance of listening to our pupils. Their opinions and ideas are gathered through the School Council, suggestion boxes, pupil surveys, and our dedicated pastoral website. This platform allows pupils to communicate with the pastoral team confidentially, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs addressed.
At Boundary Oak, pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do, providing a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Form Tutors and Tutor Time
In the Junior School, Form Teachers play a key role in pastoral care. As pupils progress to the Senior School, their Form Tutors remain essential, and daily Tutor Time supports well-being through a structured programme covering topics such as bullying and mental health.
Pupil voice
Pupils actively share their ideas, thoughts, and concerns, influencing decisions on topics such as lunches, policies, and events through the School Council.
